PANEL SOLICITORS

All potential accident compensation claims clients in the United Kingdom that complete and send a contact form or who use the helpline are referred to a specialist personal injury solicitor for free advice. Where the cause of action arose in England & Wales then a potential accident compensation claims client will be transferred to a law firm that has a solicitor who is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and that also has a solicitor who is a member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel. In suitable cases that solicitor will deal with a compensation claim on a no win no fee basis and will also guarantee that if the claim is successful then compensation will be paid in full with no deductions. Win or lose there will be no charge. To cover the costs of running this website and maintaining and administering our panel of law firms we are paid £350.00 plus vat for each case referred to a firm of solicitors in England & Wales which results in a retainer. Similar, though not identical, arrangements apply for potential clients whose cause of action arose in Scotland or Northern Ireland who are referred to lawyers operating in those countries. In no case is the referral fee paid by the client but is a charge paid by the solicitor who receives the referral. These arrangements do not apply in CICA cases.

The information provided on this website is for educational purposes only and is not intended to be legal or medical advice which should only be obtained personally from a qualified solicitor, barrister or doctor. Do not use this website to disregard any qualified legal advice on road traffic accident law or any qualified medical advice, nor should you delay seeking medical advice or legal advice or representation because of something you have read or have seen on this website. You should not act on, or rely on, any information on the website without personally seeking the independent advice on road traffic accident law from a solicitor. The website expressly disclaims all warranties and disclaims all responsibility for any loss, injury, claim or damage of any kind resulting from, arising out of or in any way related to the website. Mere consideration of the website does not create any contractual relationship. All enquiries to the website are passed on to qualified solicitors and a solicitor/client relationship does not exist until your claim is accepted and confirmed in writing by the solicitor concerned. Terms and Conditions of business may vary for applications made to the Motor Insurers Bureau regarding untraced drivers and in these cases part or all of the legal fees may be deducted from the damages awarded. There are time limits within which court proceedings must be commenced. The Limitation Act states that court action for personal injury must be started within 3 years of the alleged negligence unless at the time the claimant was under 18 or a person under a legal disability. There are other exceptions and in certain unusual circumstances an application can be made to the court to extend the time limit beyond 3 years. Limitation matters are complex legal issues and you should never delay taking professional qualified legal advice. If you are in any doubt regarding the time for starting court action you should urgently consult your solicitor.
